I have an outstanding debt of $221 with TDS Metrocom. This goes back to Sept/Oct 2008 when I moved to another apartment. The short of the story is that they claim I never told them I was moving, thus keeping the old phone number and address active. I have, for months,m been trying to resolve this with Stark Collection Agency with no satisfaction. TDS claims I am guilty, whereas, I have the emails to prove that I am not. Correspondence has been faxed to Stark. They have asked me to pay the bill and they will write off $40. I said, No go! This is not my error. Can you help get this resolved? Because of this past due bill on my credit report, it cost me another .25% on my mortgage. I am thinking of sueing them for refinancing charges, the $221, and attorney fees.
